If something is unpredictable and exciting in this world, it’s got to be the game of football. Chelsea vs. Swansea City was not exception to the rule.
To a great start by Swansea City to brutal finishes by Diego Costa to score his first EPL hat-trick, the game had every possible spice that exists in the game of football. And to add a feather to the cap, Loic Remy scored on his debut. What a day! Chelsea wrapped up the game 4-2 to top the table.
The game started with Swansea City dominating the proceeding, and Chelsea’s defence looked under pressure straight away leading to the first goal at 11th minute which was a goal by the captain John Terry himself.
However, Chelsea were able to regain the momentum thanks to Eden Hazard’s beautiful runs in Swansea’s half. The equalizer soon came as Diego Costa netted the corner pass given by Cesc Fabregas just before the first half (45′). It was all Chelsea show at the Stamford Bridge after this.
It was awesome to see how well Fabregas and Costa were linking with each other, and the partnership soon yielded into another goal (56′), and then another (67′) and by 71st minute of the game, it was all over for Swansea.
Loic Remy came as a substitute for the hero of the day Diego Costa and to every Chelsea fan’s delight, scored right away to prove his point. He is here to play and here to stay.
Jonjo Shelvey netted the second goal for swans at 86th minute, but it was too let for a comeback by then.
For now, we are on top of the table, and we love it. KTBFFH.
