Ramires aims to stay at Chelsea

RAMIRES has just made his 200th appearance for Chelsea FC, and disclosed his desire to stay at the Club much longer.

Carlo Ancelotti brought the box-to-box midfielder for just under £20m from Benfica in 2010, and since then Ramires has been one of the cornerstones of the world famous Chelsea’s counter attacking style of football.

The 27-year-old, who is tied down to a five-year deal he signed in 2012, was linked to Real Madrid during this transfer window; however Ramires aims to stay at Chelsea for long and make it big in here.

Ramires said:

“I am very proud to have completed these 200 games for Chelsea.

“It’s a huge honour to be one of the players in the current squad that have worn the shirt the most times.

“I hope to be at Chelsea for much longer and to achieve other important milestones in the future of the club.”
