Last season, we were close to winning the English Premier League, in fact, let’s face it, we let it slip it out of our hands. We all were disappointed, and so was Gary Cahill.
However, this time, history will not repeat itself. Gary Cahill looks confident that Chelsea FC will win the trophy this year for sure.
“I think we’ll be strong,” the 28-year-old told the official programme for England’s friendly against Norway.
“Last season, we were up there and arguably if we could have changed two or three results, all of a sudden we would be in a different position though I’m sure other teams could say the same.
“I haven’t got a crystal ball; I can’t say if we are going to win the league or not – but I’m confident that we will be up there challenging and in amongst it.”
Interestingly, Chelsea’s next league clash comes against the only other side in the top flight to have won all three of their games so far – Swansea City.
Mourinho’s men will host the Swans on Saturday September 13th, after the international break.
