Chelsea Release Diego Costa Injury Update

Reports published in the guardian claim that Chelsea have released update about the injury of their marksman Diego Costa.

Costa sustained an injury during a training session for International friendlies and was ruled out of the Spanish side for the next Euro Qualifier game.

The Guardian claim that after conducting their own examinations, Chelsea are optimistic Costa hasn’t suffered any serious injury and could now be in with a chance of being fit to face Swansea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The paper states that the striker will continue to be monitored throughout the coming week but it will be a major boost to Jose Mourinho if the Brazilian-born hitman is in contention this weekend after it looked like he could be on the sidelines for at least a couple of weeks. We hope he gets ready for the Swansea game in time.

  1. I trust Mourinho to manage his injury well, even if he can not play on Saturday Loic Remy is on hand to step in,for me he should not be rushed back so soon in order not to aggravate the problem as Arsenal and Man City will soon be our next opponents and could present a tougher opposition than Swansea.
